Proofload Waterbags

PROOFLOAD Waterbags are a safe and cost effective method to be used as load testing equipment. Although we utilise our own Proofload Waterbags, life boat test system(s), load cell(s), special slings and ancillary equipment in performing tests, we also rent out this equipment to approved third parties, involved in load testing. All Proofload equipment is type tested and certified, has CE conformity, and offers state-of-the-art technology to ensure maximum performance and reliability. Proofload Water weights are available in sizes ranging from 1 up to 100 tons.

Life Boat Bags

The Lifeboat Bag Test System has a capacity of 6.3 Metric Ton, and is a safe and easy to use system for load testing of Lifeboats. The system can also be used for the testing of Crew baskets, gangways or other lifting Equipment. The safety advantage of the system is that it eliminates the need of entering the Lifeboat Capsule during an overload test. The System only requires Water and Air supply.

Free Fall Life Boat Bags

Proofload has desinged a special waterbag to be used for the dynamic and static loadtesting of Free Fall Life Boats. The waterbags have a capacity of 90kg when filled and are being strapped individually into every seat inside the life boat. Due to the strength of the waterbag material, large impacts can be absorbed into the bags so there will be no risks of damages or water leakage.

Gangway Test Bags

Load tests of Gangway and Accomodation ladders can be performed by using Proofload's Gangway Test Bag Systems. These bags have been specially designed to simulate the weight of 75 kg on each step. The inclination of these gangways are sometimes set to 55 degrees to the horizontal, and than loaded with our special gangway bags. Due to the risk and dangers of performing these load tests, the Engineer is always strapped onto the railing of the vessel with an safety harness, and one engineer is operating the water control manifold.
